Gant Industries partnered with United Airlines to complete a complex renovation of their flight kitchen facilities, ensuring the project was executed without disrupting the daily operations of meal preparation for flights. This 134,000-square-foot building operates 24/7, making it essential that renovations were carried out with precision, minimal disruption, and strict adherence to schedules.
Scope of Work
The project included structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) upgradesthroughout the facility, modernizing essential systems and infrastructure. A key component of the project involved the renovation of a 3,500-square-foot unused kitchen located at a remote site. This space was transformed into a fully operational flight kitchen to serve as a temporary solution while certain sections of the primary flight kitchen were being renovated.
